I shifted to Mumbai five years ago. Since then I kept extremely busy working and did not get time to go back home and meet my loved ones in Delhi. But after Rishton Se Badi Pratha, I realised that it was high time for me to go back home and I am glad that I packed my bags and sailed off to Delhi.
At home, my neighbors, whom I have known all my life, started treating me like a celebrity. It was surprising to see people recognizing and calling me by my screen names. However, I made it a point to visit every house in my colony, which was lot of fun.
Furthermore, my mother seemed very happy on my arrival. She named all our houses (in Delhi, Nainital and Rampur) in my name. Moreover, she wanted me to settle down and introduced me to at least 50 girls. Everything was pre-planned and I had no choice but to meet the girls. It was sort of funny because I was stuck between my mother and parents of all these girls. Luckily, I managed to get back home without getting married to any one of them.
When I was leaving for Delhi, I knew that I will be losing out on many offers, but when I reached home I did not miss anything. I could have gone abroad to enjoy and spend some leisurely moments, but now I know that there is nothing like going back home after a long time.
