It is more than a fortnight, but the Pratyusha Banerjee suicide case continues to see new developments everyday.

Last night, Tellychakkar.com reported about Rahul Raj Singh being discharged from the hospital after 12 days.

Rahul, who is being charged for abetting the suicide reached the Bangur Nagar Police Station and spoke to the media to give his side of the story today morning (17 April).

The actor-producer said, “Don't judge the book by its preface, read the entire book and then come to any conclusion. I am innocent, and waiting for the judgment to come.”

As readers would know, Pratyusha allegedly committed suicide on 1 April at her Gporegaon residence. It is said that her tumultuous relationship was the reason for her death.

With Rahul’s eventful past surfacing every now and then, the police acting on the complaint of Pratyusha’s parents issued an arrest warrant on Rahul under IPC section 306 (abetment of suicide). Her parents accused Rahul of physically assaulting her and also misusing her money.

The actor has also been booked under sections 504, 506 (criminal intimidation), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) of the IPC.

Rahul, who was under depression and showing tendencies of suicidal himself, was hospitalized on 3 April. His lawyers also managed to get him an interim bail till 18 April.
