Star Plus' popular show Diya Aur Baati Hum surely had a lot of admirers across the globe and the fans never failed to shower their love for the ones associated with the show.

The serial has a huge fan base in Thailand where the show airs in Thai language. They love the entire cast and crew immensely.

The good looking and popular actor Varunn Jain, who is currently seen in Mere Angne Mein, recently lived his Diya Aur Baati days during his Bangkok trip where he met the admirers of Diya Aur Baati Hum.

When we contacted Varunn, he shared with us, "Ever since the fans got to know that I am coming to Bangkok for my shoot, they started messaging me on Facebook, requesting me to meet them and I agreed to it. They came all the way travelling 350 KMs. to meet me where I was staying in Bangkok. They had taken leave from their work just to meet me. It was so sweet of them. We had a chit chat and they gave me gifts. Many more fans wanted to come but they couldn't because it was a working day so only two-three of them managed to come and they took my autographs for everyone who couldn't come. They shot a few videos too. They were so happy to meet me. Few fans also recognized me in the market places. They didn't know Hindi or English so they couldn’t communicate with me. They just used to meet, smile and say something in their own language."

"Diya Aur Baati Hum is really very precious for the Thai fans. I have never seen such fans. They have followed me religiously. They have always showered their love on social media but I got to know about their love more when I met them in person. I loved meeting them. My Diya Baati memories came alive after meeting them and it feels amazing to see their love," added Varunn.

So sweet!!! Isn't it?
