Seasoned actress Rinku Karmarkar believes that ‘learning’ should be a day-to-day process, irrespective of how experienced you are!!

She urges that every youngster looking to becoming an actor should have this ‘zeal’ to learn!!

Rinku who entertained one and all with her terrorizing antagonist role of Tai in Zee TV’s Yeh Vaada Raha is presently on a break from acting, and looks forward to a happy vacation with family to celebrate Christmas and New Year.

Also, Rinku feels that every actor needs to feel the emotion he/she is exhibiting before the camera. “Being an actor is an investment, and not an expense,” she vehemently states.

Elaborating on her thought process, the actress avers, “It is very important to bring across the emotion on face. I tell this to all the actors I work with. It is the actor’s job to emote, and it has to come out well. If an actor falls short in doing so, then he is not to be blamed. In such cases, I will say that the casting is wrong. Casting has to be done in such a way that an actor is able to deliver the basic emotion needed for his role.”

Talking about the today’s generation actors, Rinku avers, “There are hardly few actors who can be counted on finger tips who can be called good actors. If an aspiring actor has to get it right, he / she has to watch good work, indulge in workshops and work on your own skills. It is essential to feel the emotion deep down your gut.”

Among the today’s generation actors, Rinku feels Sriti Jha and Ankush Arora are really good. “I saw Sriti for the first time in Jyoti wherein she enacted the role of the dumb girl so beautifully. I used to admire her for that role. And when I got a chance to work with her in Imagine’s Rakt Sambandh, I actually went gaga over her acting talent. Also, Ankush played the kid’s role to great aplomb in Yeh Vaada Raha. I would say that the kid’s role he played at the fag end of his tenure was his best work in Yeh Vaada Raha. I have clapped along with others when he used to shoot his scenes.”

Very well said, Rinku!!!
