Madonna may headline Glastonbury 2019

Singer Madonna is in talks to headline Glastonbury 2019.

The iconic music festival was criticised last year for its lack of female headliners. Now, organiser Michael Eavis is aiming for the very best ahead of the 2019 festival, reports thesun.co.uk.

Madonna is being lined up to perform at the event, which kicks off a year from now.

"Preparations are already well underway after they have taken this year off, and Michael and his -- daughter Emily Eavis want to make it better than ever. They have always been massive fans of Madonna and know she would put on an unforgettable show.”

"It was really important that they had a diverse line-up for the 2019 festival after criticism of previous ones," said a source.

The source added, "And with this being a fallow year they want to secure a really big name to drive ticket sales. Thanks to all her huge hits, they are convinced that she would be a real crowd pleaser on the Pyramid Stage."

We were great friends: Bryan Adams on Princess Diana

Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter Bryan Adams, who once wrote a song about Princess Diana, says they were very good friends unlike the reports that stated that they were once "romantically involved".

The Canadian singer, 58, was asked about the late British royal while on "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen" on Monday night.

Cohen asked, "There are many rumours that you and Princess Diana were once romantically involved. Her butler said that he used to sneak you into Kensington Palace. How would you characterize your relationship with Princess Diana?"

To which Adams said, "Great friends. And she didn't sneak me in, I would just roll up."

"Friends with benefits?" Cohen asked.

"Um, she was just… we were good friends," Adams replied.

'A Quiet Place' writers to adapt Stephen King's 'The Boogeyman'

Author Stephen King’s "The Boogeyman" is in the works with "A Quiet Place" writers Scott Beck and Bryan Woods.

King's short story was first published in 1973 and later released as part of his 1978 Night Shift collection.

"The Boogeyman' follows a man who recently lost all his children to a creature lurking in the closet. It becomes the latest King fiction to get an option for film or TV treatment, a pace accelerated after the outsized success of It.

"The Boogeyman" has been a favourite of short filmmakers; it has been adapted into shorts seven times, in what King calls "dollar baby deals," non-commercial and non-exclusive rights options that allow emerging filmmakers access to material they could never afford if they were paying retail, reports deadline.com.

20th Century Fox and 21 Laps deal will be the first studio feature adaptation for the short story.

It's not a surprise that King would spark to Beck and Woods. King called "A Quiet Place" "an extraordinary piece of work" in a tweet.

Ozzy hated filming family reality show: Jack Osbourne

Jack Osbourne says that his father, rocker Ozzy, "hated' filming family reality show The Osbournes.

The father of three, 32, opened up about the return of his reality TV show Ozzy & Jack's World Detour on PeopleTV's Chatter on Tuesday.

On returning to World Tour for another season, Jack recounted how he didn't think his father would ever appear on reality TV again, reportspeople.com.

"After The Osbournes, he just hated reality TV," Jack said. "He hated the experience, he hated the way he was portrayed. He was like, ‘It's not what I do. I'm a musician.'"

Ozzy was not the only who did not like the show, which aired from 2002 to 2005. Jack's oldest sister, Aimee, refused to be part of the series and even moved out of the family home at the age of just 16.

Now he is a father, Jack's daughters do appear on his new show but he tries to make the experience as normal as possible.

"(It's) the best time. My favorite times on the show have been when my kids have come out," he said.

He recently announced his split from wife Lisa Stelly in an Instagram post in May.

Losing virginity was terrible: Lena Dunham

Actress Lena Dunham says losing her virginity was an "uninteresting" and "terrible" event of her life.

The 32-year-old opened up about her personal life when she sat down with SiriusXM host Bruce Bazzi for an episode of Lunch With Bruce, reportsdailymail.co.uk.

"I was almost 20. I was a late bloomer... I went through my whole freshman year and half my sophomore year and I barely kissed anybody," Dunham said.

"I did it halfway through my first year at Oberlin. And I was like, obsessed with getting it done. I acted like being a virgin was like have the plague. If anyone found out, I was like, appalled.”

"I remember then when it finally happened…it was so, uninteresting, bordering on terrible. Literally, as it was happening - and he was a very nice guy - I was like, 'This was what I allowed the last two years of my life to be about?'" she added.

The Girls star even had a crush on a girl in college and worried about what it meant for her whole identity.

"What does this mean? What am I going to do? The idea that I would have a crush on a girl seemed like it could upend my entire identity."

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau teases Jaime Lannister's fate

Game of Thrones actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau says he is not sure whether his character Jaime Lannister will ever be able to move on from his sister-lover Cersei, essayed by Lena Headey.

Jaime Lannister started out as one of the series' villains, but he has evolved into one of the biggest fan favourites. In season seven, he had to take the most pivotal decision of his life: leave Cersei.

So, what does the show's final season look like for Jaime, now that he is without the relationship that has defined his entire existence?

"Can we redefine ourselves? Most people have moments in their life where you go, ‘Can I really, fundamentally change?' The core of him has always been Cersei," vanityfair.com quoted Coster-Waldau as saying.

"When that's taken away, what are you then? What's left? Is there anything left? When he leaves, obviously he has no idea. He doesn't know the answer to that question," he added.

On the moment in which Jaime tells Cersei he "doesn't believe" she will have him killed, the actor said, "That's, of course, said in a moment of passion. Who knows if it's true?"

He added, "I've almost been married 20 years -- 6 June was our 20th anniversary-- and I'm very, very lucky. I have a wonderful wife. But over 20 years, there are times where you have fights. You can be so angry that for a second in your passion and anger you can go, 'Oh, fuck this'. Of course, three seconds later, you go, 'No, no, no. What am I doing? What am I thinking?'
