Rajkumar Hirani to screen 'Sanju' for Australian students
Filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani and actor Vicky Kaushal, whose Sanju has fetched good box office collections, will screen the movie on the life of actor Sanjay Dutt for students from La Trobe University in Australia as part of the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) next month.
Hirani will introduce the film, talk about Sanjay and show the children the biopic.
"It's always an enriching experience when people of different diaspora watch our films. I look forward to the special screening of Sanju for the students at La Trobe. It would be an interesting experience to see the reactions of those who are almost alien to Hindi films and the life of Sanjay Dutt," Hirani said in a statement.
Hirani and Kaushal will also champion the cause of inclusion -- the theme of IFFM this year. The gala will take place from 10-22 August.
On the theme, Hirani said, "I'm looking forward to the festival this year, especially since the festival is championing the theme of inclusion in cinema. I look forward to being in Melbourne."
Sanju features a cast including Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky, Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal and Sonam Kapoor.
Ali Fazal goes back to school for 'Prassthanam'
Actor Ali Fazal went back to his school to shoot for a song and dance sequence with co-star Amyra Dastur for his upcoming film Prassthanam.
‘’Going back to school was a flood of emotions. For anyone their school and any educational system will bring back millions of memories. And to now go there as a working individual and to shoot there for a film is almost unreal," Ali said in a statement.
The actor added, "It was a great experience, the school hasn't changed at all. I loved every bit of La Martiniere, the Royal structure, the teachers, the culture it represented."
Prassthanam also stars Sanjay Dutt and Satyajeet Dubey. The film is directed by Indian-American director Deva Katta.
Ali will also be seen in Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi, directed by Mudassar Aziz. The film is a sequel to Happy Bhag Jayegi, which released in 2016.

Nana Patekar replaces Sanjay Dutt in Housefull 4

The new addition to the ensemble cast of the film is the very versatile actor Nana Patekar, according to sources. It seems that Nana has replaced Sanjay Dutt in the movie owing to hike in his fee. However, the movie’s producer said that the movie was never offered to Dutt and that Nana was signed before.

After a grand wedding, Sonam Kapoor went off for a vacation with hubby Anand Ahuja and sister Rhea.
