Sa Re Ga Ma Pa to make a comeback; Amaal Mallik in talks to judge

MUMBAI: Cult singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa is likely to make a comeback with a new season.

Zee TV is planning to roll out the new season by October. Sa Re Ga Ma Pa has given a platform to many aspiring singers.

This time, makers are in talks with young sensation Amaal Mallik to judge the show.

Music director, singer, and lyricist Amaal debuted as a music composer in 2014. He composed three songs for Salman Khan's film Jai Ho and a song for Khoobsurat. There was no looking back for him after that.

What do you think of Amaal Malik?

In 2018, Mallik composed a single titled Ghar Se Nikalte Hi. He has also created songs for Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Sanju.

According to our sources, the talks are at an initial stage.

We could not get through to Amaal for a comment.

TellyChakkar has also learnt that post Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Zee TV will launch the next season of its much-loved Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs in March 2019.
