MUMBAI: Applauded for his stint in popular Colors’ series Na Aana Is Des Laado, Anand Goradia is one of the finest actors in the television industry.

Anand began his journey in the industry with Shriman Shrimati, where he was seen for a short span of time. He later played cameos in shows like Gudgudee. Anand was much loved for his role in Zee TV’s Jamai Raja and for his acting skills as Rao Surtan Singh in Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap.

The versatile actor has been a part of popular shows like Hasratein as Bittu Khanna, Maayke Se Bandhi Dor as Prabhu, and Chakravartan Ashoka Samrat as Agnibahu. The fans simply loved him as Pushpadanta in Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev.

Anand was last seen in Yeh Moh Moh Ke Dhage, Tenali Rama, and Shakti - Astitve Ke Ehsaas Ki. In a candid conversation with TellyChakkar, Anand got chatty and shared a few fun facts about himself.

Take a look at what the actor–writer had to say!

Your 2 AM friend?

I won’t say I have one, as I am blessed with a bunch of them (touch wood). My school friend Utpal, producer and guide Sanjay Goradia, and theatre actor and tutor Sanjay Thakkar.

Kiss with your eyes open or shut?

Eyes shut

A hottie you would like to get naughty with?

For the sake of fun, let me answer that the hottie I would like to get naughty with is Jacqueline Fernandez (chuckles). But the question here is...why would she be interested in me? (laughs)

Ever been hit on by the same sex?

Yes. I have not only been hit on but also been stalked by the same sex. It was difficult to get rid of him though.

The first thing you want in the morning?

A half-litre bottle of water is the first thing I want in the morning.

And the last thing you do at night?

The basic I would say (laughs). I brush my teeth and wash my feet before I go to bed.

Given a chance, which magical power would you want?

The power of becoming the most powerful man in terms of talent, merit, and luck! Everything else will follow I believe.

Whom do you want to go on a quickie date with?

I don’t believe in quickie dates anymore! Honestly, the idea does not excite me. As I said, if I can’t connect mentally, I can’t connect physically.

One-night stands are…?

One-night stands are like underwear (laughs). They are a part of fantasies that you keep covered and can’t flaunt.
