MUMBAI: A chiselled body, toned abs and ripping biceps. Ankit D'souza's social media posts makes all his fans go "whoaah!" . He will soon be seen sharing screen space with Richa Chadda in a Pradeep Sarkar directorial video.
While the actor believes in a healthy lifestyle but there are certain things, Ankit swears by, one of the them being a perfect combination of diet & workout.
"Eating the right kind of food is one of the first steps towards staying fit. I prefer to eat home-cooked meals. Eating junk food does not really go down well with me. I like simple meals that are prepared without too much of a mess or fuss" says Ankit.
An avid believer of high-intensity training, Ankit does not believe in skipping his workout sessions, come what may. He believes that you must work out and train every day, without slacking. This will help your body get used to your routine so that you can begin a full-fledged workout "I swear by high intensity training but I do understand it can get difficult & boring to keep up with the same workout schedule which is why I advise people to switch up their workout. Besides gyming I try to incorporate activities like running, swimming, cycling etc in my schedule to keep things fun & interesting"
Ankit also ensures a good eight hours sleep & healthy lifestyle "I cannot lay enough emphasis on sleep. Eight hours sleep is very important. Our bodies require sleep to restore and rejuvenate" further adding "Try to stay away from alcohol, smoking. It triggers fast ageing & of course extreme health issues"
