I'd ruin my life if I cheated on my wife: Russell Brand

Comedian Russell Brand says he won't ever cheat his wife Laura Gallacher.

In an interview to the Sunday Times, he spoke about his relationship with Gallacher and why he won't ever develop feelings towards other women, reports leading publication.

He said, "She definitely had misgivings. But I feel like our relationship, and the trust in it, she understands how seriously I take it. But nothing good could come from harming her.

"If I put something in the space between me and her, it would be very detrimental to me. So when I think, 'Oh, that person is attractive,' the next thought is, 'Yes, but if you ever did anything, you realise that would destroy your whole life.' There's that voice in my head now."

Brand, 43, married Gallacher in 2017. They also have two daughters Mabel and Peggy.

Luke Perry has advice for young actors

Actor Luke Perry of Beverly Hills, 90210 fame has some acting advice for his young co-stars of Riverdale.

Perry, who is over 50 years old, has been in the industry for a while.

Asked what acting or industry advice he gives to young actors in Riverdale, Perry said in a statement, "I just say, 'Get deep in the work'. And they really do. They get into it, and they are really great. They love what they do. I do, too."

It was a different era when Beverly Hills, 90210 was on air (from 1990-2000). Back then, where there was no social media. On the biggest challenges about having to deal with that aspect of promotion today, he said, "To me, the biggest challenge that comes with it all is just focus. You focus on the work. You don't focus too much on that other stuff.

"I didn't have much of that stuff to deal with, but KJ (actor KJ Apa) and Cole (Cole Sprouse) do. I think they have cultivated a very good relationship when it comes to the elements of social media that they're obligated to do.

"I just try to get the younger guys to keep their private stuff private and keep the show visible. I think that's the key. You get a lot of feedback from the fans through social media platforms, which is great - but there are some negative sides to it, too."

Riverdale -- a thrilling drama filled with secrets, mysteries and scandals -- is based on characters from Archie Comics. It is aired on Colors Infinity in India.

On what to expect from season three, Perry, who plays Fred Andrews in the show, said, "In Riverdale, you never know what to expect. That's what I've learned. Every time you think you know what's going to happen, it changes.

"Riverdale is a mystery show; it's a crime show with mystery, drama and love - and they just keep bringing more funky elements of each of those themes. They keep wrapping them up in a different way. We've still got a lot of darkness, and we've still got a lot of romance - but there's a lot of mystery too."

To him, it seems like "the guys of Riverdale are going to be driving the stories a bit more this year. Last year, it seemed like a lot of storylines had to do with the ladies - but the engine and some of the stories are going to come from the guys at this point. I'm pleased with that".

Regina King gushes over meeting Sam Elliott

Actress Regina King says she isn’t one to fangirl over fellow celebrities, but there is one actor she will make an exception for.

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, King says her celebrity crush is Sam Elliott, reports pagesix.com.

Talking about the award season, King, 48, whose If Beale Street Could Talk has received numerous accolades already, explained the social scene off camera.

"You are seeing a lot of the same people and then you are seeing people you are a huge fan of," she said.

She said she typically keeps her cool in front of celebrities she admires, but at the Golden Globes -- where she won the Best Actress award for her role in If Beale Street Could Talk -- she admitted being unable to keep it together for A Star is Born actor Sam Elliott.

"I normally don't go up to people and ask to take pictures just because I feel like if they're not very nice people, then they have just destroyed what's in my head, (but) I decided to go against everything I know when I saw Sam Elliott."

As her chat with Kimmel went on, the late night host was quick to realise King's admiration for the 74-year-old movie star wasn't just for his acting skills.

"Oh my God I love that man," she gushed. "He was just so charming and so wonderful and even better than I even had hoped that he would be in the moment."

Jimmy Kimmel Live! is aired in India on Star World.

Lady Gaga calls out Trump for government shutdown

Singer Lady Gaga has slammed US President Donald Trump for the ongoing government shutdown.

During her show here, Gaga took out a moment to criticise Trump and urged him to put the government back in business, reports variety.com.

"And that the f****ng president of the United States could please put our government back in business. There are people who live paycheck to paycheck and need their money."

The A Star is Born actor then called out Vice President Mike Pence, whose wife Karen is under fire for accepting a job at a school that excludes the LGBTQ community.

She said, "And to Pence, who thinks it's acceptable that his wife work at a school that bans LGBTQ, you are wrong. You say we should not discriminate against Christianity; you are the worst representation of what it means to be a Christian.

"I am a Christian woman and what I do know about Christianity is that we bear no prejudice and everybody is welcome. So you can take all that disgrace Mr. Pence and you can look yourself in the mirror and you'll find it right there."

The government closed on 22 December 2018 after Trump was refused funding for a southern border wall.

Ariana Grande accused of plagiarism

Rappers Soulja Boy and 2 Chainz have called out singer Ariana Grande for allegedly copying their work for her latest track 7 Rings.

Earlier this month, Grande was also accused of stealing lyrics by rapper Princess Nokia for the same song, reports leading publication.

Soulja Boy alleged that Grande stole from his song Pretty boy swag. He replied to a tweet in which Grande thanked her friends who were featured in the 7 Rings video, writing, "Give me my credit. Period."

He later followed up with the message, "You're a thief."

Soulja Boy has previously accused rapper Drake of stealing his musical style.

Lionel Richie's son detained in Britain

Singer Lionel Richie's son Miles Brockman Richie, also known as Miles Richie, was arrested here for a bomb hoax.

The 24-year-old model made a bomb threat during an altercation with officials at London's Heathrow Airport on 19 January.

According to tmz.com, it all went down when Miles was trying to get on a flight but he was not allowed for an unspecified reason. He then reportedly became angry and threatened to detonate a bomb which he claimed he had in his bag if he was not allowed to get on the plane.

When security showed up, Miles allegedly punched one of the guards. Police then arrived, detained him and issued him a caution on site. A caution is a formal warning given to someone who has admitted they are guilty of a minor crime.

When a caution is issued, the person who receives it is not booked or charged with a crime. They also don't need to appear in court. However, the caution goes on their permanent criminal record. It is a way to keep low-level crimes out of court.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson confirmed the incident to tmz.com without naming the person who made the fake bomb threat.

"On Saturday, a 24-year-old man accepted a caution for communicating false information causing a bomb hoax and battery following an incident at Heathrow Terminal 5," the spokesperson said.

Miles accepted the caution from police and has since been released. It is unclear if he was eventually let on the plane he originally intended to board or if he had to book another flight.

Lionel Richie has not released a statement regarding his son.
