MUMBAI: The heat is well and truly on in the Celebrity MasterChef India kitchen as the series barrels towards a thrilling finale. After a rollercoaster season of grit, flavour, and heartfelt moments, five celebrity finalists have secured their place in the ultimate cook-off.
In what has undoubtedly been the most emotionally charged and intensely competitive season yet, viewers have been treated to a spectacular display of culinary prowess.

As the semi-final week wrapped up with a gripping episode aired last night, the top five contenders for the title were revealed — Faisu, Rajiv, Nikki, Tejasswi, and Gaurav.
Each has battled through a series of high-pressure challenges, proving their mettle under the unforgiving spotlight of the MasterChef kitchen.
However, it was Faisu’s emotional vulnerability during one of the crucial semi-final tasks that truly struck a chord with audiences. Clearly unsettled, his unease was palpable both to the judges and his fellow contestants.
When asked about his state of mind, Faisu candidly admitted, “There are a few things in my life that are quite disturbing. I have been disturbed because of that.”
Renowned chef Ranveer Brar, ever the mentor, offered a moment of grounding encouragement. “Once you are in the kitchen, life outside exists outside. Focus on the present,” he advised. Fellow judge Vikas Khanna echoed the sentiment, saying, “In the last lap of the race, you’re looking here and there. You’re not the same person.”
Ranveer further urged Faisu not to let doubt cloud his determination, reminding him, “You always say that you miss the finish line. When you are about to reach it, don’t question yourself. Give your best and don’t think about what’s happening outside.”
Inspired by their words, Faisu rallied his focus and reignited his passion, delivering a powerful performance that ultimately earned him a spot in the finale.
Faisu’s visibly emotional state did not go unnoticed by fans, who were quick to speculate about the reason behind his distress.
Many believed that, without directly stating it, he had all but confirmed his rumoured breakup with Jannat.
The melancholy in his demeanor and the weight of unspoken emotions suggested that matters of the heart may have been weighing heavily on him, leaving him visibly low and shaken during the challenge.
