MUMBAI: Ali Asgar is a well-known film and television personality. He is popular as an actor and a stand-up comedian. With his work, he has made a strong place for himself in the industry and enjoys an impressive fan following.      

The actor has acted in Bollywood films like Judwaa 2, Tees Maar Khan, and Partner.  His television projects include Ek Do Teen Char, Woh Teri Bhabhi Hai Pagle, and Hum Paanch Tadka Mar Ke to name a few.   

As a comedian, he worked in Comedy Nights With Kapil, and his current project on the same lines is The Kapil Sharma Show wherein he is seen playing the role of Daadi.  In fact, he has been essaying the particular role for many years now. He now wants to take a break from it and try something different.

In an interview with a leading daily, Ali expressed, "Everyone needs variety. I am not bored, but I am tired. No matter what I do, I am put into the same clothes, similar characters.”

He continued, “The research team showed me figures that people want to see me doing female characters only. Now, I really want to know who are these people?”

On the film front, Ali next will be seen in Amavas.
