Dance India Dance 2 contestants are lucky; Big B to share stage with them

TellyChakkar had recently reported on how Salman Khan will soon appear on Dance Indian Dance 2 to promote his film, Veer. And now we hear, Amitabh Bachchan, who has probably never appeared on any TV show to promote his films, except when he is hosting them, has also consented to be a special judge on one of the episodes. Looks like last week when Terence Lewis made his contestants dance to the ‘Make a wish’ number from Aladin, he was also secretly wishing for the film’s genie to appear on the DID2 stage. Bachchan will also be reportedly sharing dancing tips with the contestants. He will also plug his latest film, Teen Patti. It would be interesting to see Bachchan interact with the Disco dancer, grandmaster Mithun Chakravorty. They were last seen together in the film, Agneepath. So time for some more crackling chemistry between the two stars. Akash Chawla, marketing head, Zee TV, said, “It’s a great pleasure to have Mr Bachchan on our show. His presence will not only motivate our contestants but also make an exciting watch for our viewers.” The episode will be telecast on January 29 at 9.30 p.m.
