MUMBAI: Sony Entertainment Television’s Tara from Satara is getting acclaimed by both audiences and critics for its unique concept of Dramality, which is a beautiful amalgamation of fiction and non-fiction. While the show highlights the journey of Tara, a small town girl, it also showcases her tryst with a dance reality show Dancer No 1. In simple words it’s the greatest backstory ever told. For the upcoming dance reality track, popular choreographer Sanam Johar will be seen as the ex-winner of the show Dancer No 1. Sanam will be seen performing in the show as well.
Speaking about his stint in Tara from Satara said, “Tara from Satara has a very unique concept bringing out the amalgamation of drama and reality. The journey of this 16-year old Tara is already attracting eyeballs and with the reality blending in, it is sure to entertain the audience further. I actually auditioned for the show, for the role of MK but unfortunately things did not work out. So, yes, I am here as a performer. I have done reality shows all my life and this show is based on a reality show, bringing forth what actually goes behind the making of such talent based shows. From how the contestants are selected, to selection of songs, hours of practice and a whole lot of behind the scenes drama is making me relive all my wonderful moments. Also, meeting Sudha Chandran was a dream which was fulfilled by this show. I have grown up seeing her perform and it was an honor. The cast which has been put together to represent contestants of reality shows is brilliant and I am looking forward for positive audience reaction as well.”
