Karishma Randeva was getting Miss Goody two shoes roles until she broke the image by playing a negative character in India Calling. And now she is all set to enter Aroona Irani's new show Doli Saja Ke Rakhna on Sahara One as a negative lead yet again. Karishma plays a spoilt brat who is responsible for a lot of wrong happenings in the family. "I play Riddhima who is always after her sister's (played by Barkha) life and treats her like a servant in the house. Eventually, she starts going around with Ali Hassan and finds out that he is already married and how the story unfolds further," says the cute actor who will don a classy and chic (skirts and corset look) in the show. So, what made the actor take up a negative role yet again after India Calling? "I loved doing a negative role and before that I was generally offered the sweet, girl next door kind of roles. And when Aroonaji called me for this show, I didn't ask her too many questions and simply agreed to doing it. I've worked with her earlier in Rabba Ishq Na Hove and had a great time working then" points out Karishma who has been working for DSKR for the past one month. Karishma is also hosting John Aur Kaun on Hungama which is on the verge of completion besides that which she is also doing a cameo in Bhabhi. The character in Bhabhi is already on air where she plays a village belle "My character name is Soni and it is inspired from the film Henna. The lead actor falls in love with me after losing his memory. I play a typical village girl who wears Punjabi suits and juti's and ties her hair into plaits," chirps Karishma who began her career with Hello Dollie.<> For now, the actor wants to concentrate on doing some quality ad films besides television shows in hand.
