MUMBAI: On Thursday morning, reports claimed that Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha are planning to tie the knot this June. The actress took to Twitter and has rebuked all such rumours.
The Fukrey actress wrote, 'At 9:00 am we were getting married, at 4:00 pm the marriage is off! Why don't you guys only decide yaa and inform us, we'll show up! While you're at it, zara bacchon ke naam bhi decide kar lein. And what school you'll send them to, suna hai donation lagta hai, de dena please. Love you! (sic).'
On Ali's birthday last year, Richa wished him by sharing an endearing video on Instagram.
The caption of the video was, 'It's nothing short of a miracle, that in this ridiculous, stupid world, I found you... you! A best friend, fan, peer, lover, critic, partner-in-crime rolled into one! I respect you as a man, a human and an artist. You are joy. You are perfection! Cheers to a love spread across the years, across continents...happy birthday dear Ali! There can be no other. God bless you! PS you share your bday with Seher @vedikaoberoi @adityaoberoi this video got deleted the last time around. Wish this one guys @alifazal9!'
Richa and Ali made their relationship official in September 2017 when their pictures from the Venice Film Festival went viral. They were attending the premiere of Ali's film Victoria and Abdul.
The couple has worked together in films Fukrey (2013) and Fukrey Returns (2017).
