MUMBAI: Ullu App has been churning out some interesting series and leaving no stone unturned to give the audience good content. They are coming up with yet another interesting series based on the traditional singers and dancers from Uttar Pradesh. Actress Sheeba Chaddha has been roped in to play a prominent role in the series.
The yet-to-be-titled series is about the love, devotion, dedication, and betrayal of a girl who belonged to the Mirasi clan. Sheeba will be seen playing the powerful role of Ruksar Begum, the wife of a nawab. She is a doting mother and a dedicated wife. Though she is good at heart, her behavior is as per the social status of the person she is dealing with.
The series will be produced by Vibhu Agarwal, CEO, Ullu Digital Pvt. Ltd., and co-produced by Rajeev Singh and Rajaram Patidar.
Lakshya Handa, Ali Raza Namdar, and Aasma Syed have been roped in for the series.
Shares a source, 'Lakshya will play the lead role. Tiktok star Anushka will play the role of Mirza’s illegitimate child, who will be the female lead. Ali will be playing the role of Mirza Hamid Ali, who is Sheeba Chhadha’s husband. Gandi Baat 3 actress Aasma will enact the character of Mirza Hamid Ali (Ali Raza Namdar) and Ruksar Begum’s (Sheeba Chhadha) daughter. She will be the parallel lead.'
