Sushant Singh Rajput Death: Shekhar Suman speaks out against a group of people in Bollywood who boycott talented actors

Shekhar Suman has formed a forum, #JusticeforSushantforum. Now, in an interview, he spoke out against a group of people in Bollywood who boycott talented actors.

MUMBAI: After Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely demise, there has been social media outrage over nepotism and bullying in Bollywood. Several Bollywood biggies have been called out, and Shekhar Suman also reacted to it, saying that Sushant didn’t leave behind a suicide note. He added that his heart tells him that there’s more than meets the eye. Shekhar Suman also formed a forum, #JusticeforSushantforum urging people to pressurize the government to launch a CBI inquiry into Sushant’s death. Now, in a recent interview, Shekhar Suman spoke out against a group of people in Bollywood who boycott talented actors, breaking them down mentally. He shared that he can relate to this, as his son Adhyayan Suman has also faced something similar.

In a conversation with Navbharat Times Online, Shekhar Suman revealed that he can connect with Sushant Singh Rajput’s death because there was a turning point in the life of his son Adhyayan Suman, when he went into depression like Sushant. He said, “Today Sushant Singh Rajput is not with us, but I am able to understand the kind of things that are coming out after his demise, because all this has happened with my son Adhyayan, and it’s still happening today.  The way Sushant was first mentally weakened and then he lost films he had signed for ... that's exactly what happened with Adhyayan.”

Shekhar Suman further said that there’s a special group in the film industry that boycotts actors socially and professionally and that messes up with one’s head. He said that it’s a terrible process, that a young talent who is full of confidence is then filled with an inferiority complex in such a way that he feels hollow and weak inside, and eventually breaks down. Shekhar Suman called this process worse than death. He also added that there’s a gang of powerful people in the film industry.

Shekhar Suman also added that the mafia group has tried to destroy him, his films, his work was snatched away and that it affected his son too, but they have to keep fighting, and stressed on the importance of breaking the film mafia group.
