MUMBAI: Coronavirus affected the economy globally and along with that this unprecedented happening, countries faced a deluge of deaths. Talking about India, the nation was on a complete lockdown and people faced a lot of unexpected problems. Life won't ever be the same and santizers and masks are the new normal. While people were quarantined, a lot of them faced job losses as the economy was affected badly.
It is over three months now and we are slowly coming out of the tragedy.
In the wake of this dissapointing event, the Indian government has made an official announcement of banning of 59 Chinese applications which includes one of the most popular one amongst the lot - TikTok. The controversies surrounding TikTok and other Chinese applications has been immense. Owing to the constant rising tension between India and China on the border, this decision has been taken. Several celebrities of the TV fraternity including Nikitin Dheer, Amrita Rao, Tina Datta, Kushal Tandon, Kamya Panjabi, among others have lauded the government’s move to ban the Chinese app.

The latest celebrity who has come out in support with the decision is TV actress Meera Deosthale. In a post shared by the actress, she requested TikTokers to take the news of the ban positively and not to take any drastic step out of sadness and boredom.
