MUMBAI: Here’s a big breaking from the desk of TellyChakkar!
The dashing Dheeraj Dhoopar, who plays the lead role in Zee TV’s popular show Kundali Bhagya, has been roped in for the fifth season of Naagin.
As we already know, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame Hina Khan has bagged the project however she will be seen playing a cameo. According to sources, Dheeraj will also be seen in Naagin 5 playing an important character. We hear that he will be paired opposite Hina in the show. In most probability, Ekta Kapoor has found her new Naagin in Ishqbaaaz fame Surbhi Chandana while the hunt for the male lead is still on. Actors namely Shivin Narang and Varun Sood were in the talks for the project.
Naagin is a popular supernatural series. Earlier, popular TV stars like Mouni Roy, Adaa Khan, Surbhi Jyoti, Karishma Tanna, and Anita Hassanandani have played the role of shape-shifting snakes in the show.
The on-going fourth season starring Nia Sharma, Rashami Desai, Anita Hassanandani and Vijayendra Kumeria is expected to wrap-up by the end of July and immediately the fifth season will be launched.
