MUMBAI: ALTBalaji and Zee5 dropped the first look of Bebaakee, an upcoming romantic drama. The series stars Kushal Tandon, Shiv Jyoti and Karan Jotwani in lead roles.
The teaser of the show will be out tomorrow but before that, Ekta Kapoor shared its first look and captioned it as, "Some ‘love’ is not a dream come true, it’s a nightmare you can’t get over...it’s not love, it’s Bebaakee (sic)."

ALTBalaji shared the first look defining Bebaakee. "Jab pyaar nidar, dheeth aur pagal bann jaata hai tab usse pyaar nahi, Bebaakee kehte hain! #Bebaakee teaser out tomorrow noon on #ALTBalaji (sic)," their caption read.
Before releasing the first look, the makers tried to raise the curiosity level of fans. Ekta Kapoor and all the Balaji actors including Erica Fernandes, Sriti Jha, Shabir Ahluwalia, Aneri Vajani, and Krishna Kaul were seen talking about what Bebaakee means to them.
Kasautii Zindagii Kay actress Erica Fernandes shared a video, where she said, "Bebaakee mere liye main hu." For Aneri, Bebaakee is passion. All the celebrities gave their own definition to the word.
Producer Ekta Kapoor shared a video, enjoying the Mumbai rains and said, "For me, Bebaakee is Ravie and the Rainss!” She further added, “It’s something that is wild, that is ‘dheet’, that does not follow the norm, and that is untamed in its purest form! There’s no other word for this kind of love...but Bebaakee."
Bebaakee's first teaser will be shared tomorrow at noon. The series revolves around the lives of two contrasting characters - Kainaat (Shiv Jyoti) and Sufiyaan (Kushal Tandon). While Kainaat is a simple girl from a humble background, Sufiyaan is a rich brat. Their love for journalism brings them together in the series.
