MUMBAI: After Sushant Singh Rajput's father lodged an FIR in a police station in Patna against Rhea Chakraborty, the Kai Po Che actor's sister Shweta Singh Kirti took to her Instagram account to call for justice for her brother. She shared a picture of Sushant's photo from the prayer meet and backed it with a hashtag demanding justice for him. This was for the first time that anyone from Sushant's family made a post calling for justice. However, with it, she also sent out advice to all Sushant's fans.

Shweta in the comments section asked everyone to not make use of bad language while demanding justice for Sushant Singh Rajput. She wrote, "I request don’t use bad language for anyone...but never stop standing up for the RIGHT." The caption of her post read, "If truth doesn’t matter, nothing ever will! #justiceforsushantsinghrajput."
Prior to this, Shweta had shared the screenshot of the last WhatsApp conversation she had with Sushant. In the chat, Shweta asked Sushant to travel to the US to be with her family so that he feels better. Sushant replied saying that he wishes to do so.
