MUMBAI: After working in Hindi TV shows for 15 years, Angad Hasija will be making debut in a Punjabi TV show titled 'Tera Rang Chadeya'. Interestingly, the actor who is originally from Chandigarh, will be playing a character inspired by popular Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh.
Angad says, “I am playing the character of a Punjabi superstar. This is a character inspired by Diljit Dosanjh, in the way that he is a popular singer and actor like Diljit. Diljit has proved his worth in bollywood too. I am an admirer of Diljit and I was in Chandigarh my hometown so when the offer came I accepted it. I am open for Punjabi films too. My character has some negative traits as well, but it is interesting to be playing a punjabi superstar in the show". The shooting is on in Chandigarh which is Angad's hometown. He was last seen in TV show Waaris and web series Ishq Aaj Kal. Well, Angad it is surely a wise move to work ni your hometown where the COVID cases are also very less.
