MUMBAI : The mysterious case of Sushant Singh Rajput received a green signal from the Supreme Court yesterday after the apex court transferring the probe to the Central Bureau of Investigation. Now reportedly, the S.I.T. (Special Investigation Team) of the agency will be reaching Mumbai today. According to the latest updates by Times Now, the SIT is most likely to visit Sushant Singh Rajput’s Bandra residence today where he was found dead on June 14.

Meanwhile, the court has also ordered the Mumbai police who were initially probing the case to hand over all collected evidence and reports so far to the CBI team.
Earlier, reportedly, the BMC officials have stated that the arriving investigating team will have to apply for exemption from the ongoing lockdown if they are going to stay for more than seven days for the investigation. He added, “If CBI team comes for 7 days they'll be automatically exempted from quarantine if carrying confirmed return ticket, as per MCGM's existing quarantine guidelines. If they come for more than 7 days they've to apply for exemption via our email id, we'll exempt them: BMC Commissioner.”
