MUMBAI: Priyamvada Kant is one popular face of the television industry.
The actress is currently seen in Sony SAB's show Tenali Rama 2.
Priyamvada portrays the role of Sharda in the popular historical drama series which is loved by the viewers.
The stunning diva reprised the role of Sharda from the previous season and the viewers are in love with her.
In a recent interaction with TellyChakkar spoke about working in her debut OTT show, the difference between working in TV and OTT, and much more.
Revealing the difference between working in a TV show and an OTT show, Priyamvada said, ''For a TV show, we almost shoot one episode a day. And for my OTT series we almost shot for 100 days for 9 episodes. That's the biggest difference. We get the script way in advance. We have so many readings, we get time to build the character, think about scenes and all of that. Whereas in television, the scripts are given to us on the set on that very day. We have a very limited time to prepare.''
Priyamvada reveals that her experience shooting for an OTT debut was very amazing. She also loved working with Sooraj Barjatya's team and also the cast.
The actress completed 15 years in the industry.
Shedding light on her journey and completion of 15 years, the actress said, ''It is pretty shocking as I didn't even realise that I completed 15 years. A fanclub had made a beautiful edit and that's when I realised that I have done so many shows over the years. It's a great landmark year. It's been a great time for me as Tenali Rama 2 has happened after 7 years which has never happened before as the entire cast is the same. And we all look pretty much the same. I had my OTT debut, I also had another release on Zee5 which was a mini-series called Chahatein. I have another one coming on Amazon Prime. So, it has all come together and such a good start to 2025. I am very grateful.''
