Jaane Anjane Hum Mile fame Ayushi Khurana recalls her first audition, reveals her mock shoot didn't go well, says, 'I was called to Mumbai because...' - EXCLUSIVE

MUMBAI: Ayushi Khurana became a household name for her debut show Ajooni.

The show aired on Star Bharat and it successfully ran on small screens for a year.

Ayushi's on-screen jodi with Shoaib Ibrahim in the drama series became a huge hit among the viewers.

The actress played the titular role of Ajooni and Shoaib was seen as Rajveer.

Post that, Ayuishi did Aangan - Apnon Ka and now she is seen playing the lead role in Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile which airs on Zee TV.

The actress is paired opposite Bharat Ahlawat in the drama series.

Fans are in love with Ayushi's role Reet and her on-screen camaraderie with Bharat is also being loved by the viewers.

We all know that the firsts are always special for every actor.

In a recent interview with TellyChakkar, Ayushi was asked about her first audition and how she bagged her first show.

The actress said, ''I remember my first audition I gave it from my hometown and for its mock shoot, I was called to Mumbai because I didn’t even know what a mock shoot was. I got very nervous and didn’t perform well.''

She added, ''As for my first show, Ajooni, I was beyond excited and grateful because it was the title lead. Whoever I am today, Ajooni made me. That show gave me so much; it was one of the best things that ever happened to me. I still cherish all the memories and often share them with my friends and co-actors. It will always remain very special to me.''

When asked about her journey in Jaane Anjane Hum Mile where she plays the role of Reet, Ayushi said, ''My journey as Reet has been incredible so far. Every day, I strive to learn something new and embrace the challenges that come with the character’s development. As the story progresses, I find myself growing alongside Reet constantly discovering new aspects of the role.''

She continued, ''The bond with my co-actors has also strengthened over time. Now that we understand each other better, it reflects in our performances, making our scenes more engaging and authentic. Overall, I’m thoroughly enjoying this journey and have high hopes for the show’s success. I truly love playing this character and look forward to what lies ahead''
