MUMBAI: 2 months after Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, Supreme Court decided to let CBI take over the investigation in actor’s death case. His death caused a stir in the industry with many mentioning about the existence of nepotism in Bollywood which creates hurdles in the way of the outsiders who try their luck in the entertainment world. Actress Kangana Ranaut during her fierce interview with Republic called out some big names from the industry for sidelining the actor that has been in the news ever since.
Now as per reports in Pinkvilla, SSR’s family lawyer Vikas Singh during his conversation mentions the Panga actress’ statement being unimportant, as well as the actress having her own agenda and SSR’s FIR, has no connections with her claims. He was quoted saying, “She's trying to further her own agenda and attack people she has a personal issue with to settle her own scores. She seems to be on her own trip. The family's FIR has nothing to do with her claims at all.”
But he also agrees to her points about nepotism in the industry, “Everyone knows nepotism exists in the industry. Sushant too must have faced discrimination. But that can't be the primary course of investigation in this case. Those can still be contributory factors, but the main case is on how Rhea and her gang tried to completely exploit and finish Sushant.”
Last evening arrived the CBI team from the country capital to investigate in SSR’s death case. Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14, 2020, at his Bandra residence, while it was reported of the actor dying due to suicide, ongoing investigation, have raised many questions around his death, turning it into a mystery.
