Mushtaq Shiekh is Ekta Kapoor's lucky mascot

Scriptwriter Mushtaq Shiekh who has occasionally played a roadside villain in some of his good friend Shah Rukh Khan’s movies like <em>Main Hoon Na, Om Shanti Om</em> and <em.Ra.One</em> will soon be seen in <em>Kya Super Kool Hain Hum</em>. Ekta Kapoor who is the producer of the film said, “Mushtaq is my best friend and I genuinely consider him to be my lucky mascot. He was also a part of <em>Kya Kool Hain Hum</em>, and I genuinely wanted him to be a part of the sequel.”

He was also a part of Kya Kool Hain Hum, and I genuinely wanted him to be a part of the sequel.” When quizzed about the role, Ekta grinned and said, “You will have to wait and watch. All I can say right now is that Mushtaq Shiekh has made my film even cooler than before.” Mushtaq Shiekh shared, “Kya Kool Hai Hum went on to become one of the cult movies of its time and when Ekta asked me to be a part of the sequel, I didn’t hesitate even for a minute to say a big yes.” When quizzed about being her lucky charm, a grinning Mushtaq said, “Ekta is a sweetheart and if she considers me to be her lucky charm then all I can say is that my future as an actor is sorted as she is one of the most enterprising people I know and she will produce at least a 1000 more films.” Kya Super Kool Hain Hum is directed by Sachin Yardi, and produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor. The film is a sequel to the 2005 hit, Kya Kool Hai Hum. It stars Tusshar Kapoor and Ritesh Deshmukh from the original cast. The film is set to release on 27 July 2012.
