Well…early in the day we wished Barun Sobti on his birthday. But he is not the only one from the industry who should be showered with good wishes, blessings and love.
RJ Mantra, Mini Mathur and Rehman Khan are also celebrating their birthdays today.
RJ Mantra who tickled the funny bone of viewers in Comedy Circus (Sony Entertainment Television) has turned 30 this year.
“I am in Delhi for my play Bairi Piya and all my friends are over here and they will come to watch my play. Yesterday, I was rehearsing for my play and the funny part was that we all actors stayed and slept on the floor at the director’s place, like good old hostel days. But as it was my birthday so I got the privilege to sleep on the bed (laughs). Later we cut cake and had fun,” shared Mantra.
He continued, “Today and tomorrow I will be in Delhi. I will be meeting my friends. When it comes to life, I am totally content and there’s nothing that I am missing today. I celebrate my birthday every day; I thank God for everything and I just wish that every day I remain the same and not change ever. Once I get back to Mumbai, my friends have several plans for me to celebrate my belated birthday.”
Now, Mini Mathur, host of Indian Idol 6 (Sony Entertainment Television), shared, “This entire week has been a birthday and celebration week given so many festivals around, like Parsi New Year and Eid. Last night I was at Salman Khan’s house for the success party of Ek Tha Tiger along with Kabir Khan (her husband and director of the movie). Today I am planning to rest at home and just watch TV. I got many gifts and my friends’ baked cake for me; they got food from my favorite restaurant from Srinagar. No more parties. I had enough. I am just too tired.”
On the other hand Rehman Khan said “I usually don’t like to celebrate my birthday, it’s just that I always make sure to donate food and clothes to the needy, and usually I have a get-together at my place. Luckily this time Eid and my birthday fell somewhere around same time. So it’s a double celebration. I am yet to cut a cake as of now.”
We wish Mantra, Mini and Rehman a wonderful year ahead!!!
