MUMBAI: Bigg Boss 7 winner Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar, who tied the knot on December 25 last year in a lavish ceremony in Mumbai, got a grand welcome at the former's friend's house. The couple visited her friend and received a warm welcome.
The actress shared a few pictures from their meeting and wrote a thank you note, in which she talked about the love and warmth Zaid and she received by Usha Kakade.
She wrote, "The best family in the world. @ushakakadeofficial @komal_rohan_deshmukh @devikakakade. thank you sooooooo much for the best time, the warmth, the love, the hospitality, the APNAAPAN, the greatest food EVER. I love you all FOREVER. May the almighty bless u n your family, Always.".
In the images, Gauahar, Zaid, her sister Niggar Khan and their mom can be seen posing with Usha and her family. Gauahar looked stunning in a green saree which she teamed up with traditional gold jewellery. Zaid complemented Gauahar in a blue kurta and golden pyjamas.
Recently, the actress shared how she is happy that she did not waste time before taking the plunge with Zaid Darbar.
"(It is) Amazing! I am extremely happy and blessed that I found Zaid and the fact we did not take time to take that plunge.", Gauahar told.
The actress resumed work in Lucknow immediately after her wedding, but she managed to steal time for her hubby and they celebrated the New Year's together.
Gauahar got married to actor-dancer Zaid, son of composer Ismail Darbar in the presence of family and friends. The couple shared photographs of the wedding on their social media accounts.
