MUMBAI: One of the much loved movies of Aamir Khan, Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood, was Rang De Basanti, which was directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. It released back in 2006 and was the talk of the town for its superb screenplay, amazing storyline, and great performances by the leads. It was based on the subject of patriotism and revolution, and till today, when we see the movie, we love every character, especially DJ, played by Aamir Khan.
But did you know that Aamir was not the first choice for the movie. It was Manoj Bajpayee. Yes, you heard right. Manoj was offered the character of DJ in the beginning.
