Tellychakkar.com has reported exclusively about Life OK and Sphere Origin’s upcoming show Chabbis Barah which is touted to be the next big show on television. The latest is that the show has gone on floor, and will launch on 26 November and will take the 9 pm slot. After reporting about Maninder Singh, newbie Tejaswini playing leads with Alan Kapoor, Additie Shiwaiker Malik Raju Kher playing pivotal roles, we have more on the promising cast. Russhad Rana and Shamim Sheikh (who was seen in Colors’ Uttaran) have been added to the cast. Shikha Singh also marks a comeback to television with this show, after her stellar performances in Na Aane Is Des Laado and Phulwa on Colors. She plays the major mastermind behind the attacks, the lady who plans the blasts. However, the lady will have a back story wherein after losing her husband, she has a personal and professional vengeance due to which she turns a terrorist. We hear that Russhad Rana will essay the role of Shikha’s husband, and will be seen in a special cameo role. Shamim Sheikh will play the role of Mr Malik, who is from Pakistan. He also happens to be in the gang of terrorists who plans the attacks. When contacted, Russhad Rana told us, “Yes, I am part of the Chabbis Barah cast. But I cannot talk on this at the moment.” Shamim Sheikh who earlier essayed Daddaji to Veer in Colors’ Uttaran too confirmed his presence in the show saying, “Yes, I am a key member in the cast of Chabbis Barah. I am not officially allowed to comment on my role though.” Here’s wishing the entire team all the very best for this unique concept focusing on the Mumbai attack.
