MUMBAI: It's over a week now that telly actress Erica Jennifer Fernandes is holidaying in the Maldives and is currently lodging in the exotic Kandima Maldives Resort there.
The Konkani Mangalorean Catholic beauty had embarked upon her showbiz career as a model, who participated in popular pageants like 'Pantaloons Femina Miss Maharashtra 2011' amongst other titles. Her limelight debut was seen on the silver screen for South Indian movies like Ainthu Ainthu Ainthu, Ninnindale, amongst others.
Not many people know that she made her Bollywood debut with the Hindi movie Babloo Happy Hai first before heading on to her small-screen debut. However, it was only through her small-screen characters of Sonakshi Bose (in Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi) and Prerna Sharma (in Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2.0) that she claimed immense fame nationally and went on being a popular household name. Also both these Hindi serials were a massive hit on the television.
She even starred in a music video named 'Maula' opposite to Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen's boyfriend Rohman Shawl, who made his on-screen debut with this MV.
Currently, the actress is currently vacating in the Maldives and has been dropping breathtaking pics of the place's view with herself in the backdrop. Reportedly, it's believed that the main reason behind the actress' vacay is that she wanted to enjoy the completion of her prominent 5 years in the television industry is the most special way possible. It so happened that her elated Indian fans gifted her a cake on that very occasion, which made it's way to her in the Maldives all the way from Mumbai, India.
