MUMBAI: Masaba Gupta is a woman of many talents. Ever since she marked her debut at the Lakme Fashion Week in 2010, there has been no looking back for her. Over the years, she has established herself as couture designer par excellence.
Last year, she started her journey as an actor with Masaba Masaba, a fun and frothy take on her life and now, she has added a new feather to her hat as she turned muse for fashion designer, Sabyasachi.
Recently, she appeared on the latest cover of 'Conde Nast Traveller India' for their special issue on new Indian weddings. As she strikes a pose in dark blue waters with flower petals floating on them at Raas Devigarh, she looks like a quintessential vintage beauty adorned with stunning jewellery.
The designer sharing the cover on her Instagram account wrote, “The Big Fat Indian Wedding is now the Intimate, Modern Destination Wedding! Our annual Destination Wedding Guide features Masaba Gupta as the newest Sabyasachi bride.”.
Here are the covers:
The sun-kissed beauty opts for a minimal make-up look with mascara to accentuate her eloquent eyes, a bindi and pink lips. What draws our attention are the gorgeous head jewellery with a maangtika, a traditional necklace with beads and intricate gem work, a set of chunky ethnic bangles and three stunning rings embedded with gemstones.
Dropping a video of the stunning locations of Udaipur that were backdrops for the designer magazine’s photoshoot, she wrote in her caption, “Don’t forget to Look Up. Masaba Gupta has something to say: 'Real life is not a reality show. Your feed is not your truth'. Cheers to that.”.
