Star Plus show Imlie is riding high on success. The show is currently exploring a crucial track wherein Aditya has finally realised his love for Imlie and intends to spend more time with her.
A lot happened on the show recently and the viewers also witnessed a new entrant, Prakash. Actor Naren Kumar has been brilliantly portraying the character of a selfless lover-cum-friend to Imlie.
TellyChakkar.com got in touch with Naren to know about the response that he has received from the viewers. In a candid chat with us, Naren said, “Viewers are extremely happy for someone like Prakash entering Imlie’s life just when she needed a strong support system. Imlie shares a great bond with Pari (Prakash) and people have loved the chemistry between Imlie and him. The viewers are also elated that Prakash has entered the show as in a way his entry into Imlie’s life made Aditya realise his feelings for Imlie. It was only after watching Imlie and Prakash’s bond that Aditya started getting insecure and protective towards her, eventually expressing his feelings to her. Prakash has been a cupid for both of them.”
Talking about the negative feedback, Naren added, “A few fans also sent me messages filled with anger as Prakash proposed to Imlie. Fans told me to back off and get another girl. Although they told me that they love my performance. I believe that the buzz we wanted to create with Prakash’s entry has been quite successful. It has been a good run until now.”
