I got a chance to do another character and to live another life and perform something unique: Adhvik Mahajan on being a part of Teri Meri Ek Jindri

Adhvik shared his experience shooting for the show among other things in an exclusive conversation with Tellychakkar.com.

MUMBAI: Adhvik Mahajan who was last seen in Divya Drishti is now a part of Teri Meri Ek Jindri.

Adhvik shared his experience shooting for the show among other things in an exclusive conversation with Tellychakkar.com.

He shared, “It's been great. Since day one I desperately wanted to do the character and the storyline is great. I could see there is a lot of scope for my performance. Mostly in television, heroes, males and men are deprived, they mostly don't have many things to do. But this guy really had things to do. He is very contributive to the show. The storyline was good. After joining the show, the director and producer are all good friends now. The ambiance, even my co-actors we all bond really well and I get the feeling of a family and I'm having lots of fun. So there is creative satisfaction as the atmosphere on the set is great.”

Talking about his bond with actor Amandeep Sidhu, Adhvik mentioned, “It's great since day one. We have developed a good bond working with each other. The give and take between the actors are really important while performing and so the equation is good between us. The way she approaches her work, her discipline, and the preparation for her role is superb. So that inspires a lot and we have fun working with each other when your co-star works so dedicatedly.

Also off the screen, we are good friends. So it’s fun working here as I have made really good equations with everyone.”

Shedding more light about the show, Adhvik shared, “The show having a rustic approach is one of the reasons I wanted to do the show. In the last show Divya Drishti, I played a role of a multimillionaire guy who is glossy and flamboyant who had a life of a hero, and now I'm playing the role of Jogi who stays in a village. So it was a total U-turn for me. I got the chance to do another character and to live another life and perform something unique that I have not done before, so as an actor this excites me when I get a chance of doing something which I haven't done before. It poses a challenge and that excites me the most.

Television shows mostly run for a longer period. So I think it's important for an actor to keep up with the excitement and hunger while you perform and never get bored when you work for a longer period. This storyline and the character is so challenging that it would never bore me even if I do this role for a longer period.”

Way to go Adhvik! (Also Read: Jennifer Winget gives us a sneak peek of her next project)
