MUMBAI: As the release date of Aniruddh Dave's "Bell Bottom" is getting closer, the actor recalls the time they shot for the film in UK. The "Bell Bottom" team was in Scotland in August 2020 to shoot for the international schedule of the film.
They were the first film to be shot internationally amidst the pandemic. Recalling the time, the actor said, "It was a lot of fun shooting in UK. I got multiple Covid-19 tests done during that time. Every 10 days the entire cast and crew had to get tested for it."
"The production house made sure that we are safe. They created a bubble where no one could enter from outside. They took all the precautions. It was a good experience to work with them,” he added.
While shooting for the film Aniruddh saw a quieter England because of the pandemic. Sharing his experience, he said, "I missed the energy, the ambience which England is known for. Like seeing people everywhere, having coffee, enjoying Italian food. The place has such an artistic culture, people sell their craft, they perform for everyone. All that was much less then."
"Bell Bottom", written by Aseem Arrora, is directed by Ranjit M Tewari. It features Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Huma Qureshi and Lara Dutta. Produced by Jackky Bhagnani, Nikkhil Advani and Deepshikha Deshmukh, the movie will hit the screen on May 28.
