This Bollywood actor suggested that Pati Patni Aur Woh should be REMADE!

MUMBAI: Released in the year 2019, Pati Patni Air Woh, which had Kartik Aryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Pandey in the lead roles was an extremely entertaining drama. 

The movie was loved for its strong narrative and script along with the comic timing. However, this movie was remade looking at the success of the original movie under the same titled in 1978. The movie was then produced and directed by B.R. Chopra and starred Sanjeev Kumar, Vidya Sinha and Ranjeeta Kaur in the leading roles. 

Well, now talking about some unknown facts, did you know that the idea of remaking the movie was suggested by Akshay Kumar?

Yes! 

It was Bollywood's Khiladi Kumar who suggested the idea and this revealation was made by producer Juno Chopra who remade the film in 2019. 

During the promotion of the movie in 2019, in an interview, producer Juno Chopra quoted, “The idea to remake the film was suggested by Akshay Kumar. He had come home to meet us one day. That’s when he asked us why we were not remaking 'Pati Patni Aur Woh', which was made under our banner.”
