Said Avinash Kaul, Chief Executive Officer of ET NOW, TIMES NOW and Zoom, “Zoom is one of the top youth channels in the country. We have taken an initiative to integrate the two platforms that the youth use the most for entertainment – Bollywood & Social Media. Given that Zoom is the No. 1 TV channel in Social Media in Asia, our strong hold in this domain coupled with our Television expertise helps us understand the viewer’s needs in order to create engaging content. We aim to create more and more synergies between the two mediums and this show is a step in that direction.” The show is an extension of the recently launched Facebook app (apps.facebook.com/goZoOmit). This one hour weekend show will air requests and dedications received on the Zoom FB app - apps.facebook.com/goZoOmit along with the requestor’s name, Facebook profile picture and the dedicated message. The show, that will be hosted by a social jockey who will share the most interesting dedications, will set topics and themes for upcoming episodes, chat live via twitter and also showcase interesting content and trends from social media sites. The show will start airing from 8 December.
