SAD! Check out how these TV actors underwent financial crisis during the pandemic 

A lot of TV actors underwent a financial crunch during the pandemic.

MUMBAI: The year 2020 had been a tough one for everyone. So many people were left jobless due to the pandemic. The entertainment industry also suffered quite a lot.

Several television actors went out of work due to the lockdown and subsequent halt of shoots. With no work in hand for several months, many actors experienced a severe financial crisis. There were many actors who openly discussed the same to seek financial aid. Sadly, a few also died by suicide due to the extreme crunch they faced.

So, let's take a look at the list of actors who underwent such a tragic situation.

1. Ashiesh Roy

The Sasural Simar Ka actor, who passed away last year due to health woes, had made his financial difficulties apparent in the month of May. The actor was not able to bear the hospital bills needed for his treatment.  

2. Rajesh Kareer

He played Shivangi Joshi's father in Begusarai. The actor had shared a heartbreaking video where he sought financial help from the public. Rajesh requested everyone to help him in this tough time. Later, he posted a video where he thanked people from the industry including Shivangi Joshi for the support as he got the much-needed help.

3. Nupur Alankar

Nupur is another well-known actress who faced financial difficulties during the lockdown. Due to lack of funds, the actress felt helpless but Renuka Shahane helped her. Renuka posted a message on Facebook asking for donations for which Nupur thanked her.

4. Zaan Khan

Zaan had shared a video where he had to fight with the producer of his show for money. He had shared that the cast of the show including him had not received payment for the work they did for about seven to eight months.

5. Sonal Vengurlekar

Sonal couldn't stop herself from sharing the heartwarming gesture of her driver. She had shared that she had landed in financial trouble during the lockdown and how her driver helped her with 15000 rupees.  

6. Ram Vriksha

Balika Vadhu director Ram Vriksha Gaur took over his father's business of selling vegetables in Azamgarh, UP, on a handcart after several of his projects were put on hold due to the pandemic.

Well, there are many such actors who are going through tough times even now as things are still not that great in the entertainment industry.
