Hina Khan reveals that she was told to shut up and stick to TV and not take up movies

MUMBAI: Hina Khan is one of the most successful and cherished stars of television, and the actress has a massive fan following.

She began her career as Akshara in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and became a household name. Post quitting the show, the actress had a major transformation in her personality and was a part of reality shows like Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 and Bigg Boss Season 11 where she got a lot of fame and emerged as the first runner-up of the show.

She was last seen as Komolika in Star Plus’ Kasautii Zindagii Kay and nailed her performance as Komolika in the serial.

Hina was the first-ever television actress to walk the red carpet at the Cannes festival.

Now, the actress is on a break as she is busy with other commitments and waiting for the right scripts.

Hina has a loyal and massive fan following who keep showering her with lots of love and support.

Recently, in an interview, Hina revealed how once she had got a script from a big director and she was honest with him and told him she didn’t like it. In return, she was told to shut up and not be so honest. She was told to use a filter while talking, and that’s when she realized that there is no space for honesty over here.

She also said that when she came out of the Bigg Boss house, someone known to her had said that she will not be able to make it big in Bollywood and she should stick to doing television.

Hina said that she is human and it did hurt her, but she knows that she is talented and that, someday she will make a mark in Bollywood.

Well, there is no doubt that Hina is an exceptional actor and she has all the potential to be a superstar in Bollywood.
