GOOD NEWS! Film shoots to resume in Mumbai soon, DETAILS HERE

Yay! Film shoots may soon resume in Mumbai.

MUMBAI: It’s been around a month-and-a-half since the shoot of films and TV shows came to a halt in Maharashtra following a rise in COVID-19 cases.

The makers were left with no choice but to shift base to other cities and continue with the shoot in order to ensure the smooth functioning of their shows.

However, they can now heave a sigh of relief as the shoot of films and shows is likely to resume in Mumbai soon. Yes, you heard it right!

The latest we hear is that Maharashtra has announced a five-step unlock plan from Monday in a late-night order, a day after the state government's U-turn on the ease of restrictions announced by a minister earlier.

There's good news for the entertainment world as they will now get permission to shoot in the city soon.

Districts with a 5 to 10 percent positivity rate and 40-60 per cent oxygen bed occupancy will come under level 3. State capital Mumbai has been categorised under level 3. Film shoots will now be allowed to resume in the city.

Films shoots were halted in the city, and the actors had to go to other cities and countries to shoot or had to wait for things to normalise in the city.

Lal Singh Chadha, Bunty Aur Babli 2, Brahmastra, and Dostana 2, among others were halted due to the pandemic and sudden lockdown.

Well, even several TV shows like Anupamaa, Kundali Bhagya, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein, and Pandya Store, among others have shifted base to cities like Rajasthan, Goa, Silvassa, and Gujarat.

However, they will soon be back and resume shoot in Mumbai.

A lot of precautions were taken even when the shoots were going on in Mumbai.

Well, we are hoping that things work out this time and there is no disruption in the shoots.
