MUMBAI: Kumkum Bhagya on Zee TV is one of the most loved shows on Indian Television.

The show stars Shabir Ahluwalia and Sriti Jha in the lead roles of Abhi and Pragya. Soon, the show will witness a new entry. Amit Lohia will soon enter the show and will play the role of Abhi’s friend. His on-screen name will be Gaurav.

Amit’s entry will bring a fresh twist in the show and will make the narrative all the more interesting.

In the past, Amit has been a part of shows in the likes of Chandragupt Mourya, Nimki Mukhiya, Porus, Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala and recently featured in Baalveer Returns in the villain’s role. His last stint was with Colors’ Shakti: Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki.

Kumkum Bhagya started off by showcasing Sarla Arora, who runs a marriage hall, hopes to see her daughters, Pragya and Bulbul, married. The sisters have their own dreams and ambitions but it all changes when Purab and Abhi enter their lives.

The current drama revolves around how Prachi was blamed for the robbery and how she got cleared from the case and how Pradeep warns Tanu not to marry Abhi, and in return, she cracks a deal with him but later backstabs him.

In the upcoming episode just before the marriage happens Tanu will try to kill Pragya by injecting her, but then Pragya tries to save herself and in her defense will inject Tanu only and she will lose consciousness. On the other hand, everyone will be waiting for Tanu whereas Pradeep too will be planning against her. Ranbir doesn’t want to get married with Rhea but the preparations for his marriage also begin and he is heartbroken and disheartened.

It will be interesting to see how will Tanu get married with Abhi and will Pragya be able to stop the marriage?
