MUMBAI: Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani is a Hindi TV series that airs on Star Plus. The show first premiered on the 21st of December 2020 and is the Hindi remake of the OG Bengali TV show named Mohor, which airs on the Bengali entertainment channel Star Jalsha.
Telly actors Karanvir Sharma and Debattama Saha star herein as the show's main leads of Shaurya and Anokhi. Also, they feature herein as the show's lead couple.
The plot of the show is evidently feminist-centric, setting major goals for bending the ongoing useless social norms by showcasing the exposure and eradication of corruption at various levels. The story is primarily about a girl named Anokhi Bhalla, who's born to break all those social norms that limit the freedom of every passionate girl who gets brought up in strict Indian households. As an ambitious headstrong feminist girl, she herself hails from a strict Indian household, wherein her father plans her non-consensual early marriage, while she dreams big to leave her impact on society by shattering it's ongoing patriarchal norms. To secure her freedom, she elopes away to Delhi on her wedding night.
On the other hand, Shaurya Sabherwal hails from a Chandigarh-based affluent family. He is a modern-day misogynist and believes that women should be restricted from studying and working. He bears such chauvinistic ideologies as he knew that his mother had selfishly abandoned him as a child to pursue her career.
Now, Shaurya and Anokhi's lives entwine because of the very lady Shaurya hates so much, his own mother Aastha, who's a professor at Anokhi's college. As she takes shelter at Aastha's home after eloping from her house on her wedding night, Aastha gets Anokhi admitted to the Sabherwal Institute of Arts and Commerce Institute (SIAC), through her husband and Shaurya's father - Shaan Sabherwal. It was through this phase that Shaurya and Anokhi encountered each other for the first time, though on bitter terms initially.
With the storyline's progress, individual character developments, unfolding of past truths and Shaurya-Anokhi's repeated heated face-offs, the show's current plot is finally showcasing Shaurya-Anokhi's emergence as soulmates with Shaurya shattering his staunch ideas and Anokhi being able to convince Shaurya for the continuation of her higher studies and career post marrying him. For the first time, a Hindi TV show like Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani also showcased that even on her wedding's day, a bride can also appear for her exams first while the wedding rituals can take a back-seat, provided the partners willingly wait for each other, which definitely makes it a very unique show, unlike the regular TV dramas.
Today, Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani complete their journey of 6 whole months. Celebrating the same, a Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani fan page on Instagram (named @karanvirdebattama_world) has created a montage of many poignant clips from the show clubbed together in a single video. To note, these clips display different phases of Shaurya and Anokhi charming chemistry. The admin has also shared the same video with the show's actress - Debattama Saha.

Now, an elated Debattama took to her official Instagram handle to break the same piece of information to her fans through that same video. Sharing the video, she captioned her post as:
