MUMBAI: Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya is one of the most loved and successful shows on television, The serial had a successful season 1 and is back with season 2. The audiences are liking the serial and are hooked to it.
Aalika Sheikh is a well-known actress in the television industry and is seen as Kesar in Pratigya 2.
She has been in the industry for more than a decade. Her debut serial was on DD. Then, she was cast for Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya 1 and shot to fame with her character Kesar, who is a very simple, calm, and composed housewife who later transforms into a diva. Soon after, she was a part of Tumhari Pakhi on Life OK.
TellyChakkar got in touch with Aalika and asked her how she bagged the show and what difference she found in shooting seasons 1 and 2.

To which, the actress said that she had begun her vlogging and was busy in that when she got a call from the writer who then told her about the show and her character. Initially, she was skeptical to take up the show as she had to leave everything and go to Goa to shoot.
But the writer asked to at least read the script and the role. There were some date issues, but fortunately, everything fell into place l.
We also asked her about what difference she sees in shooting in seasons 1 and 2, to which Aalika said that there is not much difference as the cast and crew is the same. Only the the actor who plays her husband has changed; otherwise, everything is the same.
She also mentioned that the show is aired on Star Bharat, so the struggle of gaining TRPs is different, as last season, the show was telecast on a prime channel.
