After a bout of ill-health and hospitalization Shatrughan Sinha is back in full form. The sabbatical from screen has ceased. Shatruji whose last release was Ram Gopal Varma’s Rakta Charitra in 2008 has quietly been shooting for a film entitled Woh Aadmi Bahut Kuch Janta Hai. While details of the film being directed by Ahsan Hyder are being kept completely under wraps one came to know that Hyder’s film is a suspense thriller shot in Sri Lanka. Rajeev Khandelwal plays the other male lead. Apparently Shatrughan Sinha would be seen delivering the dramatic dialogues that made him a vital acting force in the 1980s and 90s. When contacted Shatruji said it was a little premature to talk about the film. But he did admit he was shooting his comeback film. “I was supposed to do a film with Akshay Kumar after I had fully recovered from my bout of illness. But that project didn’t materialize. Ahsan Hyder who has made documentaries in the past came to me with this very powerful story and said only I could do justice to my part.” The flamboyant actor known for his dramatic dialogue delivery says Hyder’s film takes him back to the dialogue-baazi of yore. “My fans will be very happy with my part. It gives me a lot of scope for the kind of dialogue delivery that I am known for.” The actor is all praise for his director and his co-star Khandelwal. “Rajeev is one of the most talented young actors I’ve worked with. H is very hard-working and focussed on his work. I am happy to be doing this film.”
