Yashdeep Nain to essay Pooja Gor's love interest in Pratigya 2; Neha Marda to essay the role of Chinky

After Chhoti Bahu on Zee TV and Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha on Colors, Star Plus now gears up for the Season 2 of their very popular show Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya. The news of Pratigya 2 being in the making stage has already made headlines. And now we at Tellychakkar.com give you more on the cast of Season 2. The channel and production house (Spellbound Productions) had an option of bringing in either Pooja Gor or Arhaan Behll as the daughter or son of Krishna and Pratigya when the story takes a 20 years leap. And now, it is certain that Pooja Gor will make her comeback as Pratigya’s daughter and Arhaan will not be part of the show. Yashdeep Nain, who was supposed to be the main lead of Spellbound Productions’ show Pyaar Ki Naukri on Star Plus (which got scrapped) has been finalized to play the younger Pooja Gor’s love interest. And Neha Marda who essayed the role of Gehna in Balika Vadhu gets back to television with Pratigya 2. She will be essaying the role of Chinky, Komal’s grown-up daughter. Anupam Shyam aka Sajjan Singh, Asmitaa Sharma who essayed the role of Thakurain, Amita Udgata who played Amma, Jaswant Menaria aka Shakti and Aalika Sheikh who played Kesar have been retained from Season One along with Pooja Gor. When contacted, Neha Marda confirmed that she is getting back to television, but did not talk further. We could not get in touch with Yashdeep Nain for a confirmation. We tried calling Producer Pearl Grey, but could not reach through to her. Also, yet another change that will be observed in Season Two of Pratigya is that the show will be independently produced by Spellbound Productions. Walkwater Media. Ltd, who co-produced Season 1 of Pratigya along with Pearl Grey, will not be part of the association this time around.
