MUMBAI: After the monumental success of Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion, director SS Rajamouli, and Netflix announced a prequel titled Baahubali: Before The Beginning. Reportedly, the makers had spent a whopping Rs 150 crore for the prequel.
Now, the OTT giant has shelved the sequel after six months of shooting. Reportedly, the makers are not satisfied with the visuals.

Earlier, we had reported that the makers of ‘Baahubali: Before The Beginning’ are in talks with Nayanthara to play the lead role. Later, Mrunal Thakur and Wamiqa Gabbi were roped in to play lead roles. Popular director Deva Katta worked on the film for six months.
The latest report suggests that Netflix has dropped the project entirely. Huge sets were built in Hyderabad for the shoot. Reportedly, the makers spent over Rs 150 crore on the shooting. Since they were not satisfied with the visuals, Netflix decided to shelve the project.
After the news went viral on social media, fans were shocked to know that a huge sum was spent on Baahubali: Before The Beginning only to get shelved later.
