MUMBAI: Lock Upp streams on Alt Balaji and MX Player on all days. The show has Poonam Pandey, Pahal Rohatgi, Sara Khan, Munawar Faruqui, Ali Mercchant, Kaaranvir Bohra, Nisha Rawal, and others as its controversial celebrity contestants. The celebrities who have left the reality prison until now are Swami Chakrapani Maharaj, Tehseen Poonawalla, Siddharth Sharma, and Babita Phogat. Lock Upp sees Karan Kundrra as its jailer.
Now, the show is all set to witness a new entry. Zeeshan Khan, who was seen in the OTT version of Bigg Boss, will soon get locked up in jail.
A source said, “Zeeshan will enter the jail either tonight or tomorrow. The audience of BB OTT didn’t get to see much of him because of his sudden eviction. He is looking at Lock Upp as an opportunity to showcase unseen aspects of his personality. The setup and format of Lock Upp are different from BB OTT, so we are expecting him to have a different approach towards the new reality show.”
For the uninitiated, Zeeshan had a short yet interesting journey on BB OTT. He was evicted after he pushed co-contestant Pratik Sehajpal during a fight. He got support from a section of viewers of the show who felt that his eviction was unfair and demanded the makers to bring him back on the show.
He is known for his portrayal of Aryan Khanna in Kumkum Bhagya. Recently, a video of him trying to board a flight in a bathrobe caught everyone’s attention. Since then, he is often referred to as the ‘Bathrobe Guy’.
Lock Upp is an engaging reality show with all the ingredients that will keep you glued to your seat: a daring celebrity host, compelling tasks, dramatic fights, and an exciting mix of contestants who will do anything and everything to survive in the show’s jail.
