Unveiling the real reason for Sanjay Gupta-Kangna Ranaut fall-out

Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta is very disturbed with Sanjay Dutt’s imminent incarceration. Though the two friends and business partners had a noisy fall-out some years ago, they patched up their differences at the Big B Amitabh Bachchan’s 70th birthday party in October 2012. The honourable Supreme Court’s judgement on 23 March (2013) left Gupta devastated, and in no mood for celebrations. “And that’s the reason why he chose not to attend Kangna Ranaut’s birthday party. She went ahead and threw a bash just two days after the Supreme Court’s decision. Gupta was in no mood to celebrate,” says a source close to Gupta. Apparently the director is very more amused than exasperated by reports of creative differences with the actress. Says Gupta’s friend, “Kangna has interpreted the character and shot the film exactly the way Sanjay Gupta wanted her to. That’s true of every member of the cast. If seasoned actors like Anil Kapoor and Manoj Bajpai have gone by Gupta’s interpretation of the characters why would Kangna not do so?”
